On August 24-25 of this year Rocky Nook, the publisher of such excellent books as Bruce Burnbaum's "The Art of Photography" and George Barr's "Why Photographs Work," will be hosting photoact2012, a photography art, craft, and technology conference with workshops in sunny Santa Barbara, California.
Among the speakers and educators will be Bruce Burnbaum, Dan Burkholder, Uwe Steinmuller, Ken Rockwell, and yes, me. Those of you who've never heard of any of these gentlemen (alas, there are no ladies among the speakers) might want to Google or Bing their names, if only to see what you could be missing.
