Good solid advice.


I also think of the ethics of photographing people without their consent and sometimes I do decide not to make the exposure depending on the situation. The issue was pretty much resolved for me when I heard Paul Strand say about this issue (I paraphrase) that the subject has to trust him as a photographer to be humane enough in what he wants to say in the photograph about the subject. These words guide me however technically I take my pictures. Following with a smile is a great way to make a contact after the exposure.

BTW, I do enjoy your blog and read it regularly ever since I found it.
